The adventure and outdoor leadership programme is for 16-24 year olds who have learning difficulties and disabilities(EHCP). All young people will work towards an SLUK sports leadership qualification. They will develop essential and confidence building skills to develop, create, plan and lead a series of adventure activities. Using our sport engagement initiative learners will work to build social  and emotional  resilience through physical activity as well as receiving classroom based enrichment and employability support.

Working in partnership with the Calvert Kielder trust participants will work towards developing the skills, qualities and knowledge in preparation for a three day residential.  The course is fully funded through  the Education Funding Authority for learners who have an educational healthcare plan in place.
