For three Sundays in December, we get spooky and offer up something different and hugely exciting for your pre-Christmas, Winter evenings.

It's GHOST STORIES FOR CHRISTMAS.

An evening of eerie tales in the dark (but toasty warm) surroundings of one of Newcastle’s most storied historic buildings, the Black Gate at Newcastle Castle.

There will be a mix of folk tales, readings of classic ghost stories and local authors reading some of their own original work, 6pm-8pm.
Doors are 5.30pm.

£5 per ticket with absolutely no booking fee.

Open 7-days per week from 10am until 5pm, you can visit the family-friendly historic attraction, located in Newcastle city centre, to reveal the story of how Newcastle began, the reason the City got its name and to walk in the steps of the people who lived and died in the shadow of Newcastle Castle. Steeped in history this imposing Norman fortress, is a rugged reminder of Northern England's turbulent history.
