Leonard Cheshire offer volunteering and employment opportunities across the North East. If you are a young person with a disability or know someone who might be interested, come along to find out more!

What is Can Do?

Can Do is a volunteering programme working with young people with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) aged between 10-35. Help make a difference to your local community, meet new people and have fun.

What is ChangeNow?

ChangeNow is a pilot programme working with schools and colleges across the North East and with young disabled people aged 16-25 to gain ten days of work experience. We work with local employers to ensure work experience placements are accessible and supportive.

Special guests The Twisting Ducks will be performing. Fun activities and lunch will be provided.
