Sage Gateshead present Bridges – a brand new animated, musical adventure by Ed Carter and Katie Simmons, featuring animation by NOVAK and music recorded with Royal Northern Sinfonia.

Bridges is a magical tale following the journey of a man, a dog, and their small fishing boat, overcoming a series of challenges as they navigate the River Tyne to an incident at Dunston Staithes, the largest timber structure in Europe.

This animation introduces the bridges as colourful characters of the River Tyne.
