Major works as part of the continuing modernisation of the Tyne and Wear Metro will mean major line closures coming up this August between Haymarket and Airport, and Haymarket to Longbenton/Four Lane Ends.

When the line closure begins on August 4th there will be no trains between Airport and Haymarket or Four Lane Ends and Haymarket until August 30th.
