The Cycle Hub is a bike friendly cafe providing wholesome sandwiches, soups, salads and seasonal specials. We also have a Cytech accredited mechanic, fully equipped workshop that stocks a range of inner tubes and essential cycling accessories.

In addition to that, we have a range of bikes, trailers, tag-a-longs and bike boxes for hire.

The Cycle Hub aims to provide cyclists in Newcastle a place to meet and chat over cake and coffee. Whether mountain biker or Bmx’er, single speed aficionado or road purist everyone is welcome.

Our friendly workshop staff are also a great resource for cycling related enquiries and information. You don't have to be a cyclist to come and enjoy The Cycle Hub, all are welcome!

We are situated between the River Tyne and the Sustrans Route 72. Traffic free routes can be found in both directions along the river making the Cycle Hub a superb starting and/or finishing point for families or those after some mellow pedalling. Ample free parking is available right next to the Hub.
