The Tynemouth Lodge is a one-room unspoiled English public bar dating back to Georgian times.

No TV. No music. No short measures. No parking problems. No hot food. No gaming machines.

It has the only woodland beer garden in Tynemouth, on the fringe of Northumberland Park. Children and dogs are welcome in the beer garden. It is the only pub in the area to be listed in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide for the last 30 years!

Although the pub was formerly a residential hotel, there is no accommodation available.
