Pani's Café opened January 1995 and run by a family of brothers and sisters. It was one of the first Italian style café in Newcastle. As authentically Italian as you can get without actually going to Italy. In Pani’s Café you can find a different menu for day and night and a constantly updated special board. Great place, quirky decor, friendly staff, great food and reasonably priced, always have nice daily specials. Always busy so sometimes have to wait for a table.
It would be a bit of a tight squeeze for a wheelchair user, not sure if they have an accessible toilet.
Our review group went back to Pani's as it's now been re-decorated and they have a new menu.
They generally thought the wheelchair accessibility was very poor, but they loved the food and the staff were nice.
Shaun thought their was too much choice on the menu and one person thought the food was a little bit expensive..
