Our vision.... is to create a high quality museum and visitor attraction for the North East of England that will interpret the museums collection and social history archive in an enjoyable and engaging manner.

Our mission.... is to increase knowledge and understanding of industrial and scientific developments in aviation in the twentieth century as well as telling the story of conflicts through the experiences and achievements of the service personnel and civilians in the North East of England during that period.
