Jesmond Dene Real Tennis Club is one of only 26 Real Tennis courts in the UK and 45 in the world. Built in 1894, the court is situated on Matthew Bank between Jesmond and South Gosforth and is only a few miles from the centre of Newcastle. The sport has grown over the last 15 years with 4 new courts built in England and an expanding membership. Jesmond has more members today that at any point in its history and new potential members are always welcome.
