The Hotspur has a superb location in the centre of the city, close to Newcastle University. Built in 1892 there is a traditional feel about the place. Renowned for the choice of real ales, there are beer festivals held every three to four months which are very popular occasions. The clientele range from students to shoppers and workers, mainly in the over 25 age range. 

Watching Sport is the main entertainment here and there is a large square screen as well as plasma screens to make sure nothing is missed!
