The Community Centre

Welcome to Great Lumley Community Centre, a community facility in the heart of Great Lumley. Having first opened in 1971, we are proud to be serving our community all these decades later.

Our aim is to 'improve the health and wellbeing of our village by sustaining a vibrant and varied range of services and facilities from a Centre which is fit for purpose, meets the needs of Great Lumley’s community, and adds value to everyone’s lives'.

We have a range of activities and classes, details of which can be found under 'What's On' and have rooms available for private hire, more details provided under 'Room Hire'.

The Community Centre employs a small team of dedicated staff, who together with the Management Committee and volunteers, work hard to keep our Centre running. We are always on the look out for new volunteers, if you feel you may be able to help then do please contact us.
