The Gosforth Hotel is a local high-street pub, very much centred around live sport and local cask ale.

Lunchtimes are busy, with good-value quality food. Stocking cask ale from a vast range of local and national breweries including the likes of the North East's own; Mordue, Wylam, Tyne Bank, Consett, Sonnet, Jarrow, Big Lamp, Allendale, Anarchy, VIP, Three Kings, Northumberland, Hexhamshire and Cullercoats.
