Newcastle Tenants and Residents Federation is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee. 

We represent tenants and residents associations (TARAs) and private sector tenants throughout region. 

Our focus is on working with tenants and residents to relieve deprivation and improve housing conditions and living environments across the region.

We support tenants and residents so that they can play a full part in the decisions about their housing and environment. 

We also offer training and support to individual tenants and residents associations and interest groups, and bring groups together over issues of common concern.

Federation membership is open to tenants and residents associations in Newcastle upon Tyne that have a majority of council housing tenants. 

Individual tenants and organisations who share the aims and objectives of the Federation may also affiliate.
