Essential CALM aims to engage the whole community, including those who may experience social, cultural or economic exclusion in a holistic approach to improving their sense of well-being, quality of life and interactions within their community and natural environment, through the provision of holistic therapies on a sliding scale of cost (free, low cost/ commercial) thereby improving accessibility and reducing health inequalities across the region; working from our base at Charles Street Community Centre in Heaton and our unique and natural therapy space; a forest yurt in the heart of Gibside National Trust estate, Burnopfield whilst working alongside local community organisations at festivals and events
Essential CALM Community Massage Project provides accessible and affordable therapeutic massage treatments.
Every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 5pm.
