The Newcastle Adult services are provided by Community Learning Disability Team, who provide services to adults with a learning disability who have complex physical health needs, challenging behaviours or mental health needs, (Physiotherapy and Speech and language are part of a life span service, which liaise with children and young peoples services) for those living in the city. The team is multidisciplinary and includes psychiatry, psychology, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy and community nursing.
