The Boatyard is an independent and laid-back restaurant on Cullercoats sea front serving brunch from 9:00am every day. Established in 2015 we have an evolving menu featuring traditional breakfasts, seafood, burgers, and carefully considered options for vegetarians and vegans.

We source our food and drinks as locally as possible, and make as much as we can from scratch and on-site.

Our Boatyard Blend coffee is crafted by skilled baristas, alongside a selection of fine loose leaf teas. Alternatively we serve jars of milkshakes, freakshakes and smoothies.

Cakes and bakes are provided by Gareth James chocolatier and Cullercoats Zen Bakery. From our bar we offer locally bottled ales, a choice of wine & some bespoke cocktails. Our gin list is ever-expanding and our bar selection includes a few small-batch bottles distilled in the North East.

Tucked around the corner from Cullercoats Bay, we invite you to come inside to relax, recharge and tuck into some proper good scram. We are dog friendly, and have some outdoor seating for alfresco dining and drinking.
