Time:
6:30pm - 8:00pm

Come along to Metro Radio Arena for an evening of celebration and remembrance and the culmination of St Oswald's Hospice's Light up a Life campaign.

People of all ages are invited to honour the lives of those we love but are no longer with us. The Christmas Celebration events are free to attend and everyone is welcome.

Doors open at 5pm with the service starting at 6.30pm. The event is hosted by Hospice Chaplain, Davina Radford, and includes a mix of songs, music, readings and reflection culminating in the switching on our Christmas Tree lights. A special guest will do the honours and light up the tree, with each light shining in memory of all of the people we have gathered to remember.

Children can get involved with an on-stage sing-along and you can pick up some festive gifts before the event starts with all proceeds from sales supporting St Oswald's.

Whether or not you are able to attend a celebration event, you can choose to dedicate a light on the Christmas tree by making a donation in memory of someone special. We'll send you a beautiful Christmas card bearing the name of your loved one and a star decoration which you can personalise with a message and hang on your tree at home or to bring along to our event if you wish.
