Exploring the Role of Teesdale in the First World War.
This exhibition commemorates Teesdale’s response to the call to arms during the First World War and marks the culmination of the Museum’s HLF-funded roll of Honour research project.
The response of local people, the home front and heroism in the face of war will unfold through memorabilia and stories as you explore this poignant exhibition. There will be an opportunity for you to leave a note about your feelings about the war and the exhibition.
The project’s Roll of Honour database will be available to see, and we would be delighted to have any additional information you may have to add.
There will be a supporting programme of talks and activities.
