Each Summer the Trust runs a series of walks on Tuesday evenings exploring a different theme related to the Ouseburn Valley and its neighbours.

On 11 June Lynne Mountford's walk Lizzie's Life and Death in the Lead Works is likely to be a sombre affair. Through the life of local Ouseburn resident Lizzie Dowson, the walk will highlight the working conditions for women lead workers in the 19th century.

Walks are priced at £4 each.

They usually start at 7pm, however please check when booking as this can vary.

Bookings are open on 1st April on our website:
