Who is the programme for?
Our IT skills course is designed to help people develop a range of IT skills and the opportunity to achieve a recognised qualification in Information Technology at either Level 1 or Level 2.
What is covered on the programme?
A range of topics are covered on the programme, including:
- IT - the basics
- Using the internet and email
- Excel spreadsheets
- Access databases
- PowerPoint Presentations
What will I study?
Learners will work towards OCR Level 1 or Level 2 Certificate in Information Technology (depending on their ability) and on successful completion of the online assessment, will be awarded the qualification.
How will the programme be assessed?
Online assessment set by the Awarding Organisation - OCR.
How long is the course?
Taught sessions will be held 10.00am - 2.30pm on the following days:
- Saturday 13th October
- Saturday 20th October
- Saturday 27th October
- Saturday 3rd November
- Saturday 10th November
- Saturday 17th November
- Saturday 1st December
- Saturday 8th December
- Saturday 15th December
- Saturday 22nd December
