VODA is working with Cruse, Marie Curie and St Oswald's to bring another series of online bereavement & loss training sessions aimed at people within the Community and Voluntary Sector and statutory organizations.
This training is at three different levels from volunteers to Chief Officers, all sessions are delivered by organizations that have many years of experience of supporting people with loss and bereavement.
The dates of the events for the different levels are listed as follows:
Introduction to the stages of bereavement
This session is aimed at front line workers, volunteers, people that want to know a bit more about how to help to support someone with a bereavement. Each session is 2 hours and will take place virtually. It will include a short break and there will be an opportunity to ask questions. These sessions will be delivered by Marie Curie with up to 30 people per session.

Level 1 - Stages of bereavement
This session will give an awareness and understanding of the stages of loss and bereavement as well as how to support colleagues who have experienced a bereavement. This session is aimed at people with line management responsibility, social prescribers, care navigators, test and trace officers, Mental Health First Aiders. These sessions will be 1 hour long and is delivered by St Oswald's.

Level 2 - Stages of bereavement
This course is aimed at Chief Officers, Senior Managers, Volunteer Coordinators, people that manage teams of people. This 2.5 hour session is delivered by Cruse and is for up to 12 people. Trainer: Marianne Pinnock.
