Date:
Wednesday, 20 February 2019
Time:
9-10am

On Wednesday 20th February, the Great North Museum: Hancock will be opening an hour earlier. This early opening is an opportunity for people to visit at a quieter time and is aimed at our visitors with autism, learning disabilities or sensory and communication disorders, along with their families and carers.

There'll be a chance to take part in our Plant a Seed activity as part of the early opening.

At 10am the museum will open to the general public and you are more then welcome to stay longer or leave the museum to enjoy the rest of your day elsewhere.

Please note that there is no public parking on site and there are limited blue badge spaces which are available on the day on a first come first served basis. If you have a blue badge and the spaces are full then we will endeavour to find an alternative parking spot on site.

Entry is free but advance online booking is essential. Tickets coming soon.
