Funding Opportunities

NEW PCC Funding

Kim McGuinness has launched a Corona Virus Response Fund for the Community and Voluntary Sector to support those groups that are worried about how they can continue to support people and help keep us all safe during this unprecedented national emergency.  There is information about the grant on the PCCs website, initially, we’ll prioritise applications from organisations supporting the most vulnerable within our communities. The fund will also look at ways to support young people at risk of abuse or neglect or the impacts of poverty now the stability and support of schools has been taken away.

If any of them have any questions about the fund please ask them to use our enquiries email addresss which is enquiries@pcc.gov.uk; .

Free Bid Writing Service for Newcastle VCS Organisations

Newcastle City Council recognise that our communities and the organisations that serve them are under tremendous pressure during this pandemic.

It is encouraging to see a significant number of emergency funds to support the VCS emerging in recent weeks, however we recognise as many of you are firefighting, it leaves little time or capacity for bid writing. To that end Newcastle City Council's Communities' Team are offering support to help you fundraise during the coronavirus outbreak.

As some charities are based in single wards we suggest that in the appropriate box on the form they should put “All” against the request for which ward they operate in.

Please complete the attached form and return it tovictoria.parkin@newcastle.gov.uk
