This year in the toon, there is plenty of stuff going on for you to choose from – from Christmas villages, markets, festive food and drink, displays and an array of seasonal events. Newcastle Christmas Village, Times Square: November 9 - January 5

‘As you enter the village you will be surrounded by all the wonders you know and love at this time of year. Santa’s Rooftop Cinema Movie Nights, Fenwicks Rooftop: November 3 – December 22

Dine With Santa, Fenwicks: November 25 – December 23

‘Start the day right and enjoy a magical morning over Breakfast with Santa. Little ones can tuck into a hot breakfast buffet selection or hot buttered pancakes whilst grown-ups can choose from a traditional English or continental breakfast served with tea or coffee. In the lead up to Christmas, visitors can also sit down to a two-course evening meal as part of its Tea with Santa experience.’

Breakfast with Santa runs weekly from November 25 every Sunday until December 23.

Enchanted Parks, Saltwell Park, Gateshead: December 4 – 9.

‘Enchanted Parks is the Newcastle/Gateshead Initiative and Gateshead Council’s popular after-dark arts adventure in the atmospheric setting of Saltwell Park. The annual event, which sees specially commissioned artists transform Gateshead’s Saltwell Park into a magical and mythical wonderland, will run for six nights this winter.’
