The Festival of Thrift (free) 

The UK’s National Celebration of Sustainable Living 

10am – 5pm

It’s all about family fun, hands-on creativity, learning and making.   

Watch OxGlam on the catwalk featuring retro, recycled and upcycled outfits all donated and fabulous! Build your own den - hammers, nails, wood and saws all provided - just bring your creativity. There’ll be music to your ears with our very own Phoenix Choir popping up around the site, lunch will be server at Bistro du Van, your dining room is in a camper van, or relax and graze in the simply stunning Walled Garden, a firm favourite last year.  

With over a 100 stalls selling all manner of thrifty, upcycled and recycled goods, delicious  food and drink, demonstrations, workshops, talks, films, art installations, fixing and a barrel load of entertainment and music. No wonder it’s a firm favourite on the North East events calendar.  

Parking is £5 – so fill up your car.
