Free training for workers in Newcastle

This 2-day course aims to raise participants’ skills and confidence in working with boys and young men to explore emotions, self-esteem, self-identity and relationships in ways that engage and value young men. The emphasis is on practical activities that can be used in direct group work or one-to-one work with young men.

For: all those working with groups of boys and young men in any setting.

Cost: free for workers in Newcastle (£200 for those working outside Newcastle).

This is an ‘Advanced’ course offered through Newcastle Sexual Health Training. Participants need to have completed the Essential ‘Introduction to Sexual Health’ course before attending this course. To find out about this and other courses, please click here.

Once you have applied, please save the date in your calendar. There is a selection procedure for our courses, to ensure a wide mix of applicants and best use of the training opportunity. Confirmation emails of places will go out no later than Wed 18th October 2017, so please ensure you provide an accurate email address on your application form.
