A relaxed opening for those with autism, learning disabilities or sensory and communication disorders.

This half term we're opening for an early private museum viewing for people with autism, learning disabilities or sensory and communication disorders, along with their families and carers.

You can explore the museum including our NEW special exhibition Bones: Skeleton Secrets of the Animal World and handle some bone objects and handle animal skeletons in resin.

You can download a Visual Story for the museum which may help prepare those who have not attended before for their visit.

Booking is essential for this event, with a limited number of tickets available. You can book your free place here. Those booked on to this event will have access to the museum from 9am before the museum is open to the general public.
