Join 54,000 runners in the country’s largest half-marathon by running on behalf of Disability North in The Great North Run 2017. The race has attracted top athletes such as Paula Radcliffe and Mo Farah in its 36-year history.

You will run through city, coast and countryside from Newcastle to South Shields and your fundraising will ensure that Disability North can continue to provide support to over 6,000 local disabled people, older adults and their families by providing information, advice and support on any aspect of disability. At a time of gruelling welfare benefit sanctions and austerity cuts to health and social care, Disability North needs your help to reach even more people in 2017.

Registration fee is £60.00 - this covers the cost of a running place and a unique Disability North running vest. We kindly ask that you commit to raising around £250.00 of sponsorship.
