Stand-up poet Kate Fox explores the Northern women you’ve heard of (and the ones you haven’t) in a hilarious and thought-provoking show.

Northern stand-up poet Kate Fox publicly waged ‘Lass War’ on the Northern Powerhouse when all the images and speakers for the North at a major conference seemed to be blokes in suits and hard hats.

This funny, though-provoking performance lecture uncovers the hidden history of the writers, scientists, sportswomen, politicians, protestors, musicians and other heroines who make up a far more diverse North than we usually see.

No interval  Suitable for ages 12+. This event is free but booking is essential (limited to 4 persons per party).
