Edith and Lionel Bosh (The Lovebirds) are a music hall double act, whose greatest success was a few nights in Blackpool. They have been married for 25 years, the love has gone and their only desire now is to kill each other. As they approach the last night of their run marooned at the end of the pier in a godforsaken Edwardian Theatre they plan to dispatch each other are thrown into chaos by an unforseen arrival.
