I work at FANE with our friendship finders, providing initial contact and induction training around friendships. This training includes: What is a friend? Barriers and goals, Plan B and Social interaction. I work alongside the volunteer co-ordinator to support both our friendship finders and volunteers through their journey at friends action north east. It is also part of my job role to consult with friendship finders and help to find or organise groups which create opportunities for people with similar interests to meet and make friends. I am always open to new ideas and suggestions.
